Experience Through Their Eyes

They're not open long during the week (11am-2pm) so you'll have to get there around lunch time. Facing the road and front of the building, cars were parked but the front door was locked 5 minutes before 11am. Walked around the side and there was a line of people waiting for the restaurant to open. Wait time for receiving food if waiting at time of opening was about 20 min so it's probably best to come after 12pm; at least this particular day, the outdoor line was gone and you'd be inside maybe 5 min before receiving the order. The food overall was pretty good. Collard green texture is slightly firm to whomever's liking. Macaroni, fat back, mashed potatoes, steak, dressing, and biscuits were good. There are a variety of desserts. Peach Cobbler was preferred over the banana pudding although it was good as well. The staff is welcoming and the younger girls were great at waitressing.

We were looking for a new hometown restaurant after our favorite place closed, and Sweet T's was a great find. The food was excellent and the service was solid. The dining area is a bit tight, but that's only because it stays busy for good reason. We'll be back. This might be our new regular spot.

Ladies Book Club trip to stay in the Yurts in Thomson GA & found this local gem. Amazing home cooking & southern hospitality. Buffet style food open Mon-Fri 11-2. Lunch special was a meat, 2 sides, bread & a drink for $11. Huge portions & amazing dessert choices as well. We went multiple times. You won't regret a meal here.

Sweet T's has the best country cookin'/soul food within 100 miles. I work throughout the area and always enjoy it when I stop by for lunch. My favorite meat is the baked chicken which is always tender and full of flavor. Get there before 11 to avoid the line. After that, you'll be standing out the door for a bit. Service at the food bar is slow but friendly. Table service for drinks and condiments is prompt and friendly. When people ask for a good place to eat in the area Sweet T's is the top of my list!

This is a Mom and Pop type restaurant. The employees are very nice. Their food is delicious! I had salmon croquettes, fatback, dressing, cabbage, cornbread, and sweet tea. Everything was cooked and seasoned well. The parking lot is not huge but they have parking. There is a descent amount of space to eat inside of the restaurant. The prices are very good. I will definitely visit this restaurant again!
